Chris is a PGA Professional who has been teaching golf for over 12 years. He has taught over 10,000 hours of lessons and dedicated his life to educating golfers of all ages and abilities. His goal as an instructor is to help his students achieve their personal best and enjoy the game. He utilizes the latest in technology to help simplify the learning process.
Chris was recently recognized as one of the “Best Young Teachers In America” under the age of 40 by Golf Digest for 2021-2022. Click HERE to check out the full article published in January’s issue of Golf Digest.
Chris believes that there is more than one way to swing the golf club correctly and all students cannot fit into the same mold. Moreover, each individual is unique and has acquired different skill sets depending on their athletic background, flexibility, body type and life experiences.
Chris has had the privilege to work, train, and learn from some of the top instructors in the country. He was fortunate enough to spend 8 years with the Jim McLean Golf Schools (the #1 Golf School in the world) in Miami, Florida where he became an expert in Jim’s teaching and coaching system.
Following his time in Miami, he positioned himself as a Teaching Professional at one of Chicago’s top private clubs for seven years- Lake Shore Country Club. Then he decided to move to Florida full time and became Head Teaching Professional at Wycliffe Golf and Country Club in Wellington, Florida.
Chris is excited to be a part of the Shriver Golf Academy and Cove Cay Golf Club. In addition to teaching alongside Pat and Bill, he will be overseeing the junior golf academy for the Shrivers.
Chris runs our Thursday morning co-ed clinics. Check out the clinic schedule.
